Getting lost in the constantly changing landscape of bioethics? Looking for accessible teaching materials for use in classroom, church, or small group settings?
On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the Council’s Faith and Life Science Reference Group (FLSRG) will host a live launch of their new resources for churches on biotechnology.
This webinar will include short learning sessions on gene editing and artificial intelligence followed by guided discussion of case studies in breakout groups. Guest panelists will include Dr. Cory Andrew Labrecque (Laval University) and Dr. Aimee Patterson (Salvation Army Ethics Center).
Participants will not only learn more about these evolving technologies and their theological implications, but will also gain a framework for facilitating similar learning sessions in their faith or educational communities. The event is open to anyone who is curious about what theology and ethics have to say about these powerful new technologies.
When: October 26, 2022 | 4-5:30PM (EST)
NOTE: This webinar will take place in English only.
There is no cost to attend, but participants must register on Eventbrite.
