“The Unity We Seek” An Evening with the General Secretary of the World Council of Churches
On Wednesday March 14 from 7 9 pm, the Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit, the General Secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC), will be offering a keynote address entitled “The Unity We Seek: Exploring the Hopes and Challenges for Ecumenism Today”. The event is hosted by the WCC Relations Committee for Canada and will be held at St. Andrew’s Church (corner of King and Simcoe in downtown Toronto, across from Roy Thomson Hall). All are welcome to participate in this unique opportunity to reflect, together, on the modern hopes and challenges in our common quest for Christian unity.
