On November 2, 2018, the Hill Times, which covers Parliament, politics and the federal public service, published the following op-ed by the President of the Canadian Council of Churches, Rev. Stephen Kendall and the Chair of Project Ploughshares, the Rev. Dr. James Christie: One hundred years after the war, it’s Canada’s time to lead. In it, they urge Canadians to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War by making a renewed commitment for peace and justice in the 21st century.
