The Canadian Council of Churches (CCC) has an opening for a Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Program Assistant. The primary responsibilities are to make connections with existing and potential local, regional and national expressions of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (WPCU) in Canada, support the creation and online publication of annual WPCU Canadian resources, and broaden participation in WPCU as a lived expression of Christian unity throughout the year.
This position involves being part of a collaborative team committed to the challenges and gifts of facilitating the work of 26 member denominations and their different cultures and ways of working. See the Position Description for details.
Fluency in both English and French is required. Experience in worship, ecumenical or related fields is preferred. This is a 10-month contract position starting at an hourly wage of $25.56 per hour for 7 hours a week – flexible – plus employer contributions.
