CCC Receives Grant from Churches’ Council on Theological Education

The Canadian Council of Churches is pleased to announce the receipt of a grant from the Churches’ Council on Theological Education to support the work of the Canadian Theological Students’ Association and its annual conference.

“The Council is honoured to be awarded this grant to support theological students across the country for many years to come,” said The Rev. Dr. Karen Hamilton, General Secretary of The Canadian Council of Churches.

The Canadian Theological Student’s Association includes all students enrolled in accredited theological institutions in Canada. It is committed to pursuing meaningful and innovative ways to foster Christian unity among students preparing for various ministries and kinds of theological leadership.

The CTSA’s primary work is the annual Canadian Theological Students Conference held in different locations across Canada. In 2014 the conference theme is “Interfaith ministry from a Christian perspective / Christian ministry in an interfaith context” and will be held at Emmanuel College in Toronto, Ontario.
